Q: What is Lead Generation?

A: Your Salon App is now offering Lead Generation to all business owner app users that opt in.  It is NOT mandatory.  This Lead Generation System is capturing leads via your location's website.  This Lead Generation System is a great way for you to get new clients.  You do not need to use this booking system or Point-of-Sale to participate in the Lead Generation Feature.  However, you will need to setup your services and pricing within the mobile application in order to take advantage of the Lead Generation System.

 

Q: What are the Fees for  Lead Generation?

 

A: YOUR FIRST 30 DAYS ARE COMPLETELY FREE!  After your 30-day free trial has expired you will be charged a lead fee and the client is yours.  The lead fee is 30% of the service fee that lead selected.  This does not include retail products, tips, or upsets.  The lead fee is also capped at $25, so you WILL NEVER be charged more than $25.  If the service type is changed/edited to a smaller amount, you will need to edit the service in the mobile app to the service with the reduced amount.  If you are not using the Point-of-Sale that comes with your app that is okay.  However, you will STILL need to edit the service and close the appointment out to CASH.  You may also demand Credit/Debit card information from the new client to enforce your cancellation/no-show policy.  However, beware - this could cause you to get less leads due to the extra step the lead must take in the system.  If the lead needs to reschedule, you will not be charged a lead fee until they finish their first service.  After your FREE 30-Day trial you will need to keep an update-to-date debit or credit card on file within the mobile app.  This can be found under the Lead Generation link from the menu on your mobile app.  The Lead Generation System is keeping track of all edits and cancellations and Salon Suite Solutions has the right to terminate your account at any time if you are abusing the system, which includes reducing the service cost or canceling the appointment fraudulently.  There are NO fees for Walk-In Business.. Advertising your business to so many for so little has never been this affordable.  In the event of a "no show" client you have 12 hours to report a "no show" after the appointment before we bill you the 30%.  

 

Q: What happens if I upsell the client at the time of service?

A: There will be no additional fee if you upsell on services or retail products.

 

Q: What happens if the service is reduced from what was originally created by the Lead?

A: The fee would then be based on the price that it was reduced to after the service is complete. However, we are tracking these reductions to ensure that everyone is adhering to our Terms of Service.

 

Q: How do I ensure that I’m not charged for the original larger service amount?

A: You must edit the appointment by selecting it at the bottom of the homepage of the app (if your editing the appointment the day of the service), or find and edit the appointment under the Appointment Tile on the homepage of the app. Then you need to make sure the amount is edited and closed out.

 

Q: I do not use this app for booking.  Can I still benefit from Lead Generation?

A: That's OK if you use another app to schedule you're appointments.  You will receive the text and email message that the appointment has been made.  You will need to contact that lead as soon as possible to fit them into your schedule.  To charge them for a no-show with their card on file, you will need to create your free ProPay account in our app and charge then in our app.  However, you will need to create services and duration times. Next, you will need to select “Closed Calendar” either during Profile Setup or you can find this feature on the Menu page, which can be launched by clicking the icon at the top-right hand corner of the mobile app. You will then need to select App Settings, and there you will find the Closed Calendar selection. Once this occurs, a lead can only request a time with you. From there, you may edit the request as you wish.  

 

Q: How are potential clients able to see my services or times I am available on the Lead Generation System?

A: Inside of your Salon app you will need to create services that you want shown on the website’s Lead Generation System

 

Q: How do I ensure that I’m not charged for the original larger service amount?

Q: When am I charged the Lead Fee?

A: You are charged 24 hours after the appointment is COMPLETED. You must remember to EDIT the appointment after the service if the service price was reduced from what the lead originally selected on the Lead Generation System AND close the check out. If you are NOT using the mobile app for scheduling, you must close the check out to CASH.

 

Q: Can I dispute a Lead charge?

A: Yes, you can by going to the Menu found by clicking on the icon on the top right-hand corner icon and then selecting Lead Generation. From there you will need to select View Report and find the appointment that you are disputing. Once selected – our support team will contact you.

 

Q: Is my credit/debit card information safe?

A: Our software is PCI certified. This certification was given by a third-party who scanned our software to make sure it was secure.

 

Q: Do I have to pay a Lead fee every time the person books with me in the future?

A: No. After you have paid the Lead fee – then the Lead is your client and you have all their contact information.

 

Q: How am I notified that I have received a new Lead?

A: The system will text message you. You will then find the new client’s contact information when you open the mobile app under Messages and the Client sections of the mobile app.

 

Q: What happens if the Lead cancels or no-shows?

A: You won’t be charged unless the lead rebook with you. You can also request credit card information via the Lead Generation System when they are creating their account to enforce your cancelation or no-show fee. However, understand that you may not get as many leads because some people might not want to give their credit/debit card information.

 

Q: Does the Lead/new client always have to use the Lead Generation System to book with me?

A: No. You can instruct them to rebook with whatever you want.

 

Q: How do specialists appear in the results on the Lead Generation System?

A: The Lead Generation System mixes up the results after each time it is used. This ensures fairness for all that are participating.

 

Q: Can Leads see my testimonials or portfolio?

A: Yes. However, you must be using the mobile app for the Lead to see your testimonials or portfolio.

 

Q: What happens if the Lead is a current client or referral?

A: During registration, the Lead is asked by the system if they are a new client, existing client, or referral. You are only charged a Lead fee if they select that they are a new client.

 

Q: If a Lead finds my website and books with me there or on the app am I charged a Lead fee?

A: No. They only time you are charged a Lead fee is when a Lead books with you from the Lead Generation System found on the suites website. Furthermore, you are only charged the one-time Lead fee. After that is paid, the Lead is your client.

 

Q: Can I turn off the Lead Generation System if I don’t want any more clients?

A: Yes. If you fill your book and decide you want to turn it off all you need to do is go to the Menu, which can be found by clicking the icon at the top right-hand corner of the apps screen. Then select Lead Generation System. From there scroll to the top and deselect that you agree to the Terms and Conditions. It will automatically disconnect you from the system.

 

Q: Do I have to show all my services on the Lead Generation System?

A: No. You can select which services you want shown. In every service that you create in the mobile app, you will need to switch on Lead Generation, which is an option found on the Service Creation page.  

 

Q: Do I have to pay for walk-in Leads from Lead Generation?

A: No. There is no Lead fee for walk-in business.

 

Q: Do I have to use Quickpay/Propay to use the Lead Generation System?

A: No. You can use whatever you would like for payment processing. However, you will be required to have a credit/debit card on file that can be charged after the 30-day free trial if you receive a paying lead.

 

Q: Do I have to give my credit/debit card in-order-to get the 30-day free trial for Lead Generation?

A: No. You do not need to give that information until the end of your 30-day free trial.
