In most cases this is because you don't have email set up on your mobile device. We utilize your own email capabilities to send invoices and receipts. This is so your client will recognize your email address and not mark it as SPAM as opposed to us sending it to them. If you don't have email set up on your mobile device or tablet, then it can't pop up your email client to send the email.
