The Document Signing feature is an included benefit of your subscription to our Suites Management System (SMS) software. We have a video and PowerPoint tutorial that demonstrate this feature to help you learn more. A document template must first be created using the document editor. Once you create the document template, it can be reused for your future Tenants by assigning it to them. 


**Note**: Tenants must first be added to the SMS and assigned to a suite, and a mobile app user so the document can be assigned and signatures can be captured.


Here's how to navigate and the SMS to review the lease agreement template that you will assign to your tenants;
  1. Log into the SMS
  2. Click Document Signing on the left menu
  3. In the “select document” drop-down, pick 12 month lease agreement
  4. Your lease agreement will appear
    1. Please review for typos and formatting
    2. Please review for fields I added to capture specific data
      • Anything with a [bracket] will require you to input data into the form fields when you assign the least template to a new Tenant
  5. If you make any changes, please be sure to click SAVE (or advise us if you need changes made)
 
To USE this template an assign it to a Tenant, follow steps 1 – 3 above
  1. Click the Assign to Tenant button
  2. Default data you already entered into the SMS will appear in the fields where appropriate
  3. Input additional data as per what I included in the [brackets] at the end of the document
  4. Submit the document and follow the on-screen instructions to include text to your Tenant to describe what it is you’re sending them
  5. Tenant will receive an electronic version of the lease agreement via their mobile app
    1. They must be a mobile app user to e-sign the document
  6. After the Tenant signs off and submits their signature, you will by automatically notified by the system that it is awaiting your signature to finalize it
